MEET THE PEOPLE WHO BRING YOU ROYAL TOURS!

Gaynelle is a native of Franklin, Virginia. She plans and conducts her own tours. She has been in the business of providing a good time for good folks for almost twenty-five years. Her repeat business is incredible: major trips comprise 80% or more of her former travelers. Two meals are included each day. Her philosophy is that it is important to dine together at least once a day. Newcomers are made to feel most welcomed and become an integral part of the group very quickly. There is a camaraderie that develops which makes every group very special. They leave the trip as friends!

As a former history teacher for twenty-four years, she feels that it is important to keep on learning. Often the teacher comes out in some form and learning something new is fun and rewarding for all. Every trip is a class act!!!

Before coming to Royal Tours, Donna spent thirty years in public school education where she held just about every position there is - from classroom teacher to award-winning building principal. She and Gaynelle go way back - to fifth grade to be exact: Donna had Gaynelle as her social studies and English teacher!

Donna's love of traveling and learning has always been strong, whether taking students on trips throughout Virginia (and even to Europe!), working as the creative force behind family reunions that are always set in new locations, or just taking a 5,000 mile road trip with her husband to see and experience the unique and wonderful places to be found when one is curious and willing to take the time. When Donna plans a trip, everyone has an exciting time with many laughs along the way.  

Sandra has been working with Gaynelle for many, many years and manages her office very efficiently. As sister-in-law, as best friend, as head cheerleader, Sandra's enthusiasm is unequalled and you detect it in her voice!

Marina is now in her thirteenth year working with Royal Tours and is a right arm to Gaynelle, Donna, and Sandra. Her efficiency, her dedication and her loyalty are greatly appreciated. When you call our office, you are likely to speak with Sandra or Marina. Most often Gaynelle and Donna are “On the road.”

Wayne is a very young retiree who still enjoys working and obviously enjoys working with the staff at Royal Tours. He travels with us often as our right hand man while we are on the road. When at home, he just enjoys helping all of us in the office and does a superb job! If you hear that male voice answer our phones, it's Wayne! He is very capable of taking care of the office and we are lucky to have Wayne with us.
